About This Spot

Stepping into Lin’s House in Greenwood feels like being welcomed into a well-loved neighborhood spot where the hum of quiet conversation and the clatter of dishes create a comforting backdrop. The pace here is unhurried but purposeful, reflecting a team who know their regulars and newcomers alike, making sure everyone feels taken care of from the moment they arrive. It’s a space where the familiar warmth of friendly smiles meets a calm, clean environment—something that makes lingering over a meal feel more like visiting than dining out.

The atmosphere here is inviting without being formal, a balance that encourages both casual lunches and small family celebrations. There’s a gentle rhythm to the service, attentive and thoughtful without ever feeling rushed, which fosters moments of genuine connection and a relaxed enjoyment of the flavors on the table. You might notice how the buffet reflects a purposeful care, with fresh dishes rotated thoughtfully throughout the day rather than heaped in large vats—evidence of the care behind keeping every bite inviting and comforting.

What unfolds on your plate is a quiet celebration of classic Chinese comfort food, grounded in balance and heart. Dishes arrive warm and flavorful, often bringing that familiar home-style taste that invites you to savor each forkful at your own pace. Whether you’re drawn to tender bites of orange-glazed chicken or the subtle layers of garlic-sauce vegetables, each offering feels crafted to both satisfy and soothe. The meal is as much about the human moments around the table as it is the mix of aromas and textures—something clearly felt in the ease and smiles of the staff ready to share their hospitality.

Lin’s House is a place that lives in the details: from clean restrooms and convenient parking to attentive servers who remember your preferences and a kitchen that stays true to consistent quality. It’s this thoughtful attentiveness that turns a simple meal into a quietly memorable experience for locals and visitors alike—where you come for the food but stay for the connection that reminds you how a local favorite earns its steady, loyal following.

Absolutely love this place! Have t done a review in a while on this wonderful place, so here it is.First off the restrooms are always clean and there is always parking with handicap able parking right by the front door. Everytime that my family and I have came to dine here it's been a 5 star experience. Always greeted with a smile and a friendly face. We've never had to wait to be seated and, the waitresses have always stayed on top of things and made sure that we were taken care of. Our cups are never empty. The food, my goodness they always have a variety of different kinds of chickens, pork, beef, soups, egg/spring rolls, fried biscuits, noodles fruits, and deserts. It's always hot and fresh! They even have ice cream which my kids love. Hands down the best Chinese food around here period. I actually took some pics this time so I hope that this review was helpful to all who are looking for a great place to dine by yourself, on a date or with your family. Thank you for your time and God bless.

We came here, not sure what to expect. This was an old Sonic, and in 2002, the Lins House bought it and began their journey. I have seen it driving through Greenwood but never stopped. Boy, how I was missing out. This has got to be the best Chinese food restaurant in the Rover Valley area. We visited about 7 pm on a Sunday and expected half warm food. Wrong! The food was hot and fresh, and the place was alive with people buzzing, laughing, and enjoying their time. There was even a birthday dinner taking place. Our wait staff was good. She came by our table 3 times, taking empty plates and refilling the drinks. Now, let's get to the old Sonic comment I made earlier. You could not tell this was an old drive-through as they have remodeled and updated, inside and out, to a like-new beautiful and vibrant establishment. It's cozy, warm, inviting, and beautifully laid out with unity and conformity in design. It's super clean, luxurious, and rich in Chinese beauty showcased through art and design. I still can not believe how absolutely amazing this reaturant is. In fact, I don't intend on going to Fort Smith anymore for my Chinese cravings fix. The price for supper was about $17 each for a drink+buffet, so it's a little on the upper end of the dollar value, but..... it makes up for it with fresh hot food, a great atmosphere, good service, food selection, and variety, so the value is there. I will go back again and again.

My partner and I tried Lin’s for the first time today, and it was great! The staff were all extremely nice, and very attentive. I have OCD and buffets can really freak me out sometimes, but this place was extremely clean! I really love that they don’t put huge vats of each thing out, so they change it more often. It really put my mind at ease. The food itself was great! Everything was hot and fresh, and nothing was too salty. They had a great selection of desserts as well. We’ll definitely be back!

Stopped in for lunch with a coworker today and was not disappointed. Everything was cooked just right and the honey chicken was really tasty. Our server was friendly and very attentive. A reasonable price with lots of selection. I will definitely come again with a bigger appetite. Bonus points for being locally owned!

Food, service and atmosphere.. 5 stars couldn't even begin to adequately rate this restaurant. The staff is absolutely wonderful with the owner greeting customers and making a genuine effort to make connections with people. They are all more than happy to accommodate disabilities, always friendly and smiling! Could not recommend Lin's House more highly!

A good solid Chinese buffet. I could not try a few of the selections because of my bell pepper allergy, but they smelled really good. Worth the drive even if you do not live in Greenwood. I enjoyed a Sunday night buffet for just under $13 a person.
